Heavily textured, the work has been painted using both brush and palette knife with a strong array of blues to include mid blue and Prussian blue. The addition of chartreuse, metallic pewter, and black add to the mystery. Interesting areas of reflection, due to the pewter, along with markings offer the viewer a time to contemplate. The sides of the work are painted black to complete the look
