A Moment in Time
Abstract painting 24" x 62" x 1.5"
Acrylic on canvas
'A Moment in Time' is a black and white triptych that is reminiscent of the works of Robert Motherwell and Pierre Soulages. The work was created to emphasize the beauty of simplicity. This spontaneity can be seen in the close-up details. The work is gestural and free with minimal second pass adjustment. All three panels are signed only on the back allowing them to be installed in a variety of ways. Panels are 24" x 24" (2) and 24" x 12" with 1" in between to make 62" wide when hung.
The panels are ready to hang with wires attached and their sides are painted white for a clean aesthetic. Framing is not necessary unless desired (see in situ images for inspiration)
There is an additional 24" x 12" work (Part 4), painted at the same time, which can be added (see the in situ image with 4 panels)
Please note that the in situ images are for display purposes only and may not be exactly to scale.
